1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of My Appointment Booker at https://www.appointmentbooker.co.uk. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you are using the service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
2. The service
My Appointment Booker provides subscription-based online booking software for small businesses, including public booking pages, team profiles, calendars, booking management, email notifications, and file uploads linked to bookings.
We may improve, change, or withdraw features from time to time. We will aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect paid features.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate account and business information
- You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure
- You are responsible for staff access you create and permissions you grant
- You must not share accounts in a way that circumvents per-seat billing
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, the base plan is £25 per month and includes the business owner. Additional staff logins with their own booking access are £5 per person per month.
- Fees are charged in advance on a recurring monthly basis
- Taxes may apply where required by law
- You authorise Stripe to charge your payment method for recurring fees
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal in your admin dashboard
- If payment fails, we may suspend access until the account is brought current
Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your business content, pricing, availability, staff management, and how you use customer data collected through your booking page.
- Comply with applicable laws, including UK GDPR and electronic marketing rules
- Provide your own privacy information to your customers where required
- Ensure booking information, pricing, and availability are accurate
- Respond to customer enquiries and data rights requests relating to your business
- Only upload images and content you have the right to use
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other accounts
- Upload malware, abusive content, or material that infringes third-party rights
- Overload, scrape, or reverse engineer the service except where permitted by law
- Resell or white-label the service without our written agreement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules or create risk for other users or the platform.
7. Intellectual property
We own the platform, branding, software, and documentation. You retain ownership of your business content. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process your content solely to provide the service.
8. Availability and disclaimers
We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, third-party outages, and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.
The service is provided to businesses for booking management. We are not a party to appointments between you and your customers and are not responsible for the services you provide to them.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid by you for the service in that period.
10. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if continued provision of the service becomes impractical for legal or security reasons.
On termination, your right to use the service ends. We may retain or delete data in line with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify account holders. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections in your home country give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
